I was a founding teacher of Providence Christian School an experimental academically advanced private Christian School in Dallas Texas from 1989 through 1992. Starting in 1993, I home educated my 8 children through high school. My kids have gone on to pursue a variety of interests which include a masters degree in medieval history, two nonprofits, two for profit businesses, professional vocalist, martial arts teacher, commercial fishing, among other things. While I have experience in the school system, my favored approach to learning is one on one, where the student is the sole focus, learning in an environment which develops his or her individual gifts.
