About Beatrice

I'm an attentive, warm, and generous caregiver with a deep respect for children, families, and the process of development. I enjoy working with kids because I value who they are and believe care is most meaningful when it's collaborative, communicative, and grounded in trust. I began working with children at 13, supporting the same family and set of children for nearly eight years as my responsibilities grew. Since then, I've worked with a variety of families and caregiving contexts, including supporting neurodivergent and disabled children with higher support needs. I'm also a licensed social worker and have worked therapeutically with children. My caregiving approach is rooted in developmental psychology and trauma-informed frameworks that prioritize safety, dignity, and emotional well-being. My skills include co-regulation, social-emotional learning, and supporting problem-solving skills. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, making art, and being in nature.
