My dogs are my kids and I will treat your pets like family, too. I mostly have experience with dogs and cats but, have cared for birds, fish, reptiles, and amphibians. My work background was in emergency medical services for 20 years. This led me to accept the first coordinator position for the Washington County Animal Response Team. I was a pet first aid and CPR instructor for many years (unfortunately, I actually had to perform CPR on my dog, Marshall, when he had a cardiac event). I do maintain my pet first aid certification. I presently have two senior dogs. The older has diabetes and I am familiar with giving daily insulin and sub Q fluids. My time is quite flexible and can typically be available on short notice.
