About Becky

I love nurturing children and watching them grow and become their own little people. I was a stay-at-home mom and raised my children who are now 18, 21, and 22. I was part of the PTA for 15 years and was able to be the president for a couple of those years. I have been teaching PE and swimming at a severe special needs school for a few years, but I am ready for a change. Between my experiences and college degree (coupled with coursework in Early Child Development), I have a solid foundation in childcare practices. I am creative, friendly, and adapt easily to new situations. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that encourage learning. I am comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. I am also happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, and swimming supervision. I hold current certifications in First Aid and CPR Training. I always follow the parents' lead regarding household rules and preferred methods of communication.
