About Benjamin

The most important lesson I've learnt as a caregiver is compassion. I have helped clients in their daily living activities, monitored and administered medication, given psycho-emotional support, aided mobility, transportation and served as a liaison between them, loved ones, healthcare providers & in creating supportive structures for recovery and continued long term support. I a cheerful, detail-oriented and calm non-binary CNA-certified caregiver. I like caring for seniors because I get to support them in their "new normal", which is vulnerable. I started caring for seniors when I took up a job at a group home. I have served hospice, dementia, hypertension, diabetic, long and short term care clients in a group home, facility& at-home set ups. In my spare time, I like to indulge in art& reading.
