About Beverly
I am a retired elementary school teacher of 26 years with the public education system of Texas. In addition, I have been an adult ESL teacher with HCDE, Harris County Department of Education, since 2010 up to the present day. After I retired from teaching elementary school, I started my career as a caregiver/ nanny for children over the past 11 years. I absolutely LOVE being a caregiver, and I'm excellent at it! Even though I have had little experience caring for adults, I would LOVE to be given the opportunity to do so. Senior adults are often like children. Their needs are very similar and require special care, love, and patience. I'm looking forward to the 1st family who will give me this initial opportunity to give stellar care for their loved one, and begin a new journey as a Senior caregiver! Beverly is kind and easy to communicate with. She treats my grandmother with the utmost respect while caring for her. She does all daily living tasks with grandma. Beverly has a fun personality & loves to get on grandma’s level, look her in the eyes and chat with her about the past. Beverly was open to learning grandma’s care level & working with our family on routines we’ve had for years. I would highly recommend Beverly to care for elderly.
