Hi! I'm Bonita, a passionate tutor who loves helping young learners grow in math and reading through fun, confidence-boosting sessions. With over 5 years of experience working with children from preschool through early elementary, I specialize in turning tricky topics into lightbulb moments. Whether we're tackling phonics, decoding, number sense, or word problems, I tailor each session to your child's unique learning style. I currently teach Pre-K and am pursuing my bachelor's degree in both Special Education and General Education. I've supported learners of all abilities including those with IEPs and behavior plans and I'm trained in positive behavior strategies and developmentally appropriate instruction. My goal?
