About Bonnie

I not only home schooled my six children through high school, I have tutored other students for five years at a wonderful company in Des Moines, IA. I also tutored in Houston, TX, as well as proctored LSAT exams. While homeschooling gave me experience teaching multiple children with different grade levels, intelligence levels, learning styles, and gifts, formal tutoring gave me the opportunity to teach people with other traits, like dyslexia, various learning disabilities and needs. My paid experience may be only 5 years, but my teaching experience, adds up to more than 20 years. Although I used to teach CPR I am not currently certified. I am confident in my abilities as I am a retired paramedic and have used the skills many times including on my own son. I enjoy tutoring and helping people experience the joy of learning.
