About Brenda

I started to work as a voluntary at one orphanage back in Brazil were I'm from, and after graduating in college I move here to work as an Au pair, that means that I have lived for two years with an american host family caring for their children. After finishing the Au pair program I got married, and started to work as a caregiver, I have taken care for the last two years of a patient with dementia and other patients with very advanced age, I have enjoying a lot being able to care for older people, I have also experienced with hospice process, and although really hard, I'm sure that everyone on their last days also deserve to have company and being treated with love, being there to someone to hold their hands and sing, and help family members to not feel alone was a very special experience and I'm proud on being able to be there for them.
