About Brenna

Hi! My name is Brenna, and I am a senior in college. I am studying history, and I plan on going to graduate school. I have been tutoring and babysitting for about two years. I specialize in english and social science but I can teach anything 8th grade or below. I'd describe my personality as patient, funny, and friendly. I like tutoring because I am super passionate about learning and sharing that passion. I believe education is incredibly valuable and I enjoy passing knowledge and helping students feel confident in their abilities. I started tutoring when I was in high school, offering help to students in lower grades with AP testing prep and continued to tutor in my freshman year of college. I also began babysitting that year, and realized I like working with younger kids too. In my spare time, I like to read, watch history documentaries or movies, and spend time with my friends and family. My skills include reading comprehension, writing, Test prep (AP), and reteaching.
