I like caring for seniors because something so small as just talking to them can make their day I value the wisdom they share as they learned over the years they've lived as well. I started caring for seniors in a facility about 2 years ago and 2 years prior to that I would take care of my demented grandmother. I have a year and a half experience of medication aide (passing medication) I have experience with catheter care (emptying calling hospice for changing) i'm CPR certified also have experience with parkinson's , dementia , alzheimer's as well as lewy body dementia. it take time and patients with each person and all they need is someone who can help care for them as well as being there for them!
