About Brianna

I am a tutor and work in educational therapy. I've been teaching for about 10 years now in a variety of subjects. I've work in schools, in an educational therapy office, and 1:1 in-home (or at your preferred place to meet). In the past, I've worked as a full time nanny and a paraeducator in Special Ed and high support needs classrooms. My primary focus in tutoring is working with students with learning challenges including Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD, SLD, etc. While tutoring academics, I also focus on cognitive skill building (working memory, organization, processing speed, critical thinking, communication, executive functioning, etc.) to address underlying challenges related to academics. I am certified as a cognitive mediator with the Feurestein Institute and am happy to share more about this, if interested. I'm also Orton-Gillingham trained, which is the most thorough and evidence-based program to address reading and spelling remediation. I work with all ages, K-12.
