About Briar

Hello! My name is Briar I am a licensed New York State social worker who specializes in working with teens and adolescents. I just moved back to Amherst after living in Newburgh NY with my husband for the last 7 years, and am adjusting back, saving money and finding my footing with employment in this area related specifically to my field. With that, I am hoping to connect with a family in the area, as part time child care has been a constant in my life and something I really enjoy doing, along with supplementing some extra income. I have two families I have connected with at great lengths through care. com, along with over 15 years childcare experience. I am a NYS Mandated reporter, and CPR certified. At this time, I will be working my therapy job Thursday-Saturday, so I am hoping to help out a family with Monday-Wednesday care, part time, with the chance of my availability needing to change in the event my therapy job requirements shift, or my clients need rescheduling.
