About Brittany

I'm currently in grad school for mental health counseling - have a pretty packed schedule, but I'm always available for date night sitting! Lifelong Brooklynite, neurodivergent, and fully vaccinated! 20+ years experience working with families of all sizes and kids of all ages (newborn-teens). I started babysitting as a teenager, worked with kids/ adults with developmental disabilities, and spent time as a teacher's assistant in a preschool where I worked primarily with children on the Autism spectrum. I also have 10+ years of experience as an English/ writing tutor for high school and college students - my specialty is essay writing. I believe in supporting and fostering kids' autonomy, creativity, and imagination. I respect all their silliness and quirky interests, I encourage them to be kind, and I ultimately want them to always feel capable, confident, and safe.
