About Brittany

Hello! My name is Brittany, and I have worked in education for four years. I was an assistant teacher in a Montessori classroom for several years, and learned to teach students in an engaging, self-directed way that builds their confidence and intrinsic motivation. I also have training in Orton Gillingham, a reading intervention program developed for children with dyslexia (but useful for any students who need support in learning to read). I have tutored students as young as five and as old as 21. I individualize each lesson for each student's interests and passions, and I am always excited to show students that learning can be fun and engaging. I am generally available evenings and weekends, so feel free to reach out if we might be a good fit!
