About Brooke

Brooke is a thoughtful instructor. They provide students with ample opportunities to excel and grow by being available and maintaining consistent communication, providing thorough feedback, and balancing learning with student well being. In past courses, I have seen them work with struggling students by finding accommodations in dialog with students without disregarding consequences for bad faith efforts. In short, central to their teaching philosophy is both care and accountability. Their instructional style also reflects different learning modalities, from supplementing instruction with poetry, film, to various engagement opportunities. Brooke works well on a team and as the primary instructor. It is a pleasure to work with them and gain insights from their extensive teaching experience.
