About Brooke

We hired Brooke to nanny for our then 3 year old son, back when I was undergoing cancer treatment. This was a very stressful and difficult time for our family and Brooke was amazing to our son and to us during this time period. Brooke is excellent with young children. She was very fully engaged, interactive and playful with our son. He absolutely adored her. Brooke loved to take him on outings to experience new things. They would go to the zoo, the aquarium, the Field museum and to the Children's museum or just over to the public playground on a regular basis. She would get on the floor and play games with him and help him set up his play toys for make believe playtime. They did all sorts of art projects. She was constantly thinking of new and creative things to do with him and when they got tired, they would take a break and read books or watch a short movie and relax. She made him his meals when I couldn't and helped out in any other way that we asked. Brooke has a positive outlook and is a very caring and understanding individual. If you are looking for a nanny that is engaging and kind and open minded than Brooke would be an excellent hire. After Brooke moved and she was no longer available, our son, would always ask for her and still to this day talks about how she was one of his favorite babysitters of all time.
