Hello! I'm a nursing student at Hunter college who is looking for part-time care work. I have 8 years of experience working with kiddos. A majority of my experience has been in an elementary school setting tutoring and working as a paraeducator. I've worked as a youth services librarian teaching students early reading skills and connecting them with exciting books! I've also spent time working in a blended preschool with some student having developmental disabilities. For the past several years I have tutored and substituted in various schools. I'd say that I am most comfortable working with children two and older. I am comfortable in the kitchen, happy to keep things tidy around the home, and would love to help with homework/tutoring.

I am thrilled to write a review for Byron and I could not recommend him more highly! He has truly exceeded my expectations with the work he has done with our high needs developmentally disabled daughter. For context, I am an early childhood educator with thirty years teaching experience and I am very particular about who works with my child. To be honest, before meeting him, I was somewhat hesitant to hire a man to work with my special needs teenage girl but I’m so glad I took the chance to interview him. Byron is knowledgeable, professional, patient and engaging. He is so good, in fact, that he now works as an extremely popular substitute at my private preschool and my boss tried to hire him as a full time teacher! Any family would be lucky to have Byron in their lives.
