Hi everyone! I started teaching dance for kids aged 3-14 in 2014, but in 2017, my niece was born, and I became her caregiver until she was 1 year and 2 months old. During this time, I discovered my love for caring for kids, watching them grow, and celebrating their milestones. That's when I transitioned into being a nanny. Throughout the years, I've developed skills in childcare, child psychology, planning educational activities, and cooking healthy meals. I'm a caring, nurturing, and warm childcare provider who prioritizes children's physical, mental, and emotional well-being. I create a safe environment while ensuring they have fun and engaging activities. I'm comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and always approach my responsibilities with ethics and love. My strong passion for children motivates me to provide the best possible care for them.
We're reviewing Caio after a year of incredible care for our son. We will miss Caio deeply - as will our son and two cats - but the time has come to move closer to family in California, which means great luck for a new Chicago family. Caio is an experienced, unflappable, loving caretaker, with incredible work ethic and organization to boot. He's been the perfect companion/caretaker for our now 2yo son, and a proactive and trusted advisor for us as parents. We trust him completely with our son's safety, and more than that, with his nurturing and development as a person. -We hired Caio full time when our son was about 11mo, after an unsuccessful attempt at daycare, during a time when our son was still struggling to find a steady state after being born almost 2 months early. Caio hit the ground running and to this day our son's most important trainer and coach for all his early intervention therapies and exercises, from speech, to eating, to physical therapy. -Caio got our son on a predictable schedule right away and has taught him baby sign language as well as a little Spanish. He takes him on playdates, to local parks, and to activities around our neighborhood. -He has always been punctual and organized, and incredibly reliable regardless of his school schedule (which is regular a few nights a week). -Our son is very expressive and feeling, and Caio's calm, patient approach has made a huge difference for him learning to regulate his emotions. -Caio speaks up with suggestions when he needs to, without making us ever feel judged or incorrect in our parenting. Caio is an absolute gem and one of the best people you'll ever bring into the life of your young one.
