About Caitlyn

I am a graduate with a childhood education degree and currently working towards my masters. Also, I am a Substitute Teacher in Syracuse within three public school districts to advance my knowledge within education and childcare. I have worked in a daycare with ages from 6 months old to 5 years old. I also have personal experience with young children as my little brother is a year and half old. In my experience with student teaching I learned how to develop fun learning activities, behavioral management, and creating fun activities to remind kids that school is a fun environment. I played soccer, softball, and ran track growing up and love to help other children practice their own hobbies or interests. Communication is a large part of my job experiences and I believe that the success of a child comes from clear communication between the caretaker and the parent/ guardians of the children. I would love to be apart of creating a safe, fun, reliable, and creative summer childhood for kids.
