About Camille

Hello, my name is Camille. I studied at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music with the world-renowned Roland Vamos and followed him to Northwestern University, where I completed both my bachelor's and master's degrees in viola performance. I have played the violin for as many years as I have played the viola. Additionally, I began my string studies on the cello and have a solid understanding of the foundational techniques for cello playing. I am a certified Suzuki Violin, Viola, and Cello teacher. However, I do not strictly adhere to the Suzuki method if it is not in the child's best interest or if a parent prefers a different approach. I have taught both in public schools and privately since graduating from college. Currently, I am a member of the Sedona Symphony Orchestra. Teaching is not only my passion but also a talent I take great pride in. It would be my pleasure to help nurture a love and talent for music in your child.
