There is nothing more frustrating than struggling with a concept or subject, especially if you're giving 100%. I believe in explaining something in as many ways as possible so that students can fully understand it. Because of my background in teaching, I am engaging, full of different strategies, and prioritize working with each student to find the best way to learn for their needs. I graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelor's Degree in Education Studies as well as a 270-hour TEFL certificate and was an English teacher for middle school students in Japan. I am currently a doctoral candidate for my degree in Occupational Therapy. I have extensive experience working with students with ADHD and autism, especially with those struggling with planning and executive function. I also offer tutoring in ELA/essay writing (APUSH, AP Lang, College applications), Algebra I, Geometry, Chemistry, and Biology. I can do ELA and math for k-5!

Ms. Camryn tutored my daughter for about a year. My daughter has less developed executive functioning capabilities and has been known to have difficulties for online tutoring, but Ms. Camryn was able to keep her engaged and stay on tasks. We liked working with her, and I’d recommend her for kids with some mild ADHD symptoms.
