About Carissa

I have been babysitting for family, friends, and others for the last 10+ years. I began babysitting when I was about 15 years old for my four younger cousins. I was a member of the Girl Scouts for nearly all my life; from kindergarten through the end of high school and even volunteered as a troop leader for 5 years after high school graduation. I have been working with kids consistently since the age of 17. I was a tumbling, gymnastics, and cheerleading coach for 8 years with many babysitting jobs along the way. I have worked with all ages! From babysitting infants to pre-teens and coaching toddlers to college students. I was a back-up nanny and a preferred date night sitter to many families while I spent my afternoons and nights coaching. Basically, working with kiddos is what I do best and I'm ready to take care of yours.

She has been wonderful with our 1 year old daughter, always calm, patient and very engaging. Whether its reading stories, playing or helping with routines, Carissa has always created a warm, safe and loving environment that our daughter clearly enjoys. Carissa's communication with us has been excellent as well. She keeps us updated throughout the day and is always responsive and professional. We trust her completely and feel so incredibly lucky to have her as part of our daughters early years. Highly recommend!
