Hi parents! I have 12 years of childcare experience and 3+ years of pre-school teaching experience. I have experience with all ages from newborn to 12. This experience has given me the skills to multitask, use conscious behavior management, lesson play planning and develop excellent communication skills. I have a clean driving record and a clean background which is required for teaching. I am now a new mom to my 18-month-old daughter. I am interested in finding the perfect family who would allow me to bring her along and have our little ones be friends! I would love to meet your family and help your children learn and grow!
Carley was the best nanny that we have had, and likely will ever have. I will break down all the reasons why below, but I can confidently say that she will be amazing for your house and your child(ren). I would 1000% hire her again. OK, now for all the reasons why she is amazing at her work and the best nanny that we had. She is a mother herself. Carley knows all the instinctual things that come with being a mother and having experienced every stage in a child’s life. She also was a good and hands on mother, so she knows things like what size foods to feed a baby or toddler, or how to sleep train a baby and toddler. She can intuit when a kid or baby is sick or likely has an ear infection or something off. Long story short, she has been there herself and can intuit the millions of things that only a mother knows. She actually cares and she actually gives love to the kids. This is kind of hard to describe as its not analytical, but the kids know and can sense when there is love present and when there isn’t. Watching my daughter shake with excitement and break out into a huge grin when Carley entered our home brought me so much comfort and security. This is hard to describe, but basically, Carley is a loving person who willingly shares that love with your kid. She is receptive to their feelings and their personality and establishes a great relationship with the kids. She shows up on time. She is exceptionally punctual and an excellent communicator. Anytime that she was taking off she gave us tons of advanced notice and generally scheduled her personal things for times that were really easy for us (like a Friday afternoon or late in a day). She kept the home super tidy. The kid play areas and rooms, she would constantly clean up. She would run and fold kid laundry, she would wash the kids dishes, table, and floors where they ate. When the kids were napping she would even clean our dishes, the kitchen, vacuum our floors. It was incredible. Having a clean home and no kid dishes or laundry at the end of a workday EVERYDAY is an incredible experience. She is a planner. She would look at the weather for the week and choose age appropriate activities and outings to libraries and parks and museums. She’d have a good plan for the kids that wasn’t overwhelming but also gave them very fulfilling and fun days. She incorporates a ton of books, music, singing, play and is completely in tune with the kids. She was an educator prior to being a nanny so she has a great focus on letters and numbers and colors. Carley would bring her own daughter Everly with her when she nannied our children and that was equally amazing. Our kids behaved so much better with another person to play with and Everly is an extremely sweet kid. Most importantly, Carley gave equal priority to all kids, and did not favor her own daughter in any way. For us Everly was an asset and made the whole experience so much more fun and more enriching for our kids. It helped both of my daughters as they transitioned to preschool in that they were already accustomed to a schedule that involved other kids. Long story short, Carley was our 3rd nanny that our family had across all our kids and she was the absolute best. I cannot recommend her more, especially in comparison to our other 2 nannies. Our kids are now all in school, otherwise I would fight tooth and nail to keep her with us at any cost.
