About Carly

Hello and thank you for viewing my profile! I have been babysitting ever since I was 12 years old so about 12 years this summer! I started by watching my brother and sister; my brother is one and a half years younger and my sister is five years younger than I am. I then branched out when I started to watch the children who lived in the neighborhood. I have a great relationship with all of the families I have watched; most continued with my care until their children were too old to need a babysitter, and I was passed along by word of mouth, ultimately getting more jobs from different families (This was the era before online social media, the horror!). I'm extremely proud to say that I have had consistent families ask me back to watch their children and pets. The youngest child I have had experience with is 18 months old. I am capable of changing diapers, feeding from a bottle, working with children to potty train, putting them down for nap time, and am always prepared for accidents (as accidents always seem to happen! It's inevitable). I am respectful, trustworthy, kind, and love to help others! I love to play but I know when it's time to clean up and go to bed. I am CPR, AED, First Aid certified and work as a Lifeguard/Pool Operator when I'm not babysitting! I have a Bachelor Of Science Degree from Towson University and am currently enrolled at CCBC to obtain the pre-requisites I need to get back into Towson University for their Occupational Therapy program.
