My experience, I would say it's minimal. But I will sure where I got my interest to provide care for the elderly. I was able to provide the quality of care that my beloved grandmother needed at her end of life. She had dementia, she ended up not recognizing any of us, her family members. It was a very difficult time for my aunts and uncles. I, through God's grace, found the way to understand my grandmother's fear of feeling surrounded by strangers. Due to her dementia. Thankfully I was able to keep her calm and at ease. How, trying to understand at what state of mind she would be at the present time. Did not question her in any way. My journey with her, helped me understand the kind of care and understanding is needed for people in this stage of their life. Also to keep them company when they need someone to talk to. In my grandmother's honor, I would be very happy to continue providing this kind of care.
