About Carmen

I'm passionate about supporting families by providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for their children. With over eight years of childcare experience, I believe in play based learning and developmentally appropriate practices. I am also TrustLine certified and have an M. S. in Family and Human Development. I value working in partnership with children and families. Care is a collaborative effort. I speak both English and Spanish and am comfortable caring for children ages 0-11, with a preference for caring for a maximum of up to three children. In all honesty, I am in need of additional income at this time and would love to use my expertise and enthusiasm for Early Childhood Education to work collaboratively with children and families in a new capacity. I am currently available evenings and weekends.

Oh em gee. She's making me write this because I do not want to share her lol but carmen is awesome. Carmen has been with our family for 7 months (son is 2) and she's been like a gift sent straight from heaven. She's flexible which was key for me, she stays busy while baby is asleep which helps me tremendously. My son took to her very quickly and always asks to hang out with "CARMEN" (the amount of times he mentions her or asks to hang out 🤗). I enjoy hanging with her too. She is very knowledgeable about her field and can provide resources. She makes sure the space is tidy once they are done. She's always on time and replies to messages very qucikly. Carmen never forgets things about us as a family or things we ask her to do. She's thoughtful and kind... qualities id like my son to develop. I would highly recommend Carmen to any family who has children in their development years. And I hope she continues to work with our family.
