I have worked with seniors for 8 years and appreciate their struggles. I enjoy helping them manage their day, overcome their limitations, and allow them to live their fullest lives. From helping with personal care (grooming, toileting, bathing, eating, medication management, etc) to being a companion (sharing time, playing games, shopping, taking walks, etc), I strive to be a blessing to them and their families who worry so much about them. I speak English and Spanish. I became a US citizen in 2023 after moving to the United States from Peru in 2016. I am a grandmother, and a daughter with parents in both independent and dementia level care facilities. I can also offer exceptional references from past client families. Carmen cared for my father and he told me on many occasions that she has meant the world to him. He was a high functioning 90 year old. But after a fall and week in the hospital, he found himself quite unable to take care of himself at all. He needed help with all levels of care. Although he has always shunned help, Carmen's demeanor soothed him and he came not not just accept her, but love her and look forward to her coming. I am thankful to her every day for making his days better.
