About Carmen

I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with children the majority of my life. I have been an elementary public school tutor, summer youth camp counselor, a nanny, Sunday school teacher, after school program instructor and trainer, a preschool coordinator, an assistant director of a child development center, as well as an Early Childhood Education Teacher for more than 20 years. Additionally, I have been a foster mother , and I am a godmother, aunt, great aunt, step mom and mom, all to an amazing group of awesome children. I consider it a privilege to care for children, as well as a delight . I have the individual, personal qualities, along with the professional skill to be effective in my care for children. I am a supporter of connection and continuity in relation to nurturing little ones. I am open to continued growth and development and appreciate being a lifelong learner. I look forward to being part of a system of support for families and their children.
