I am a preschool teacher by trade, and I have been working with children for many years. I have some background working with the elderly. I am available and interested in a position that involves companionship not too much personal care. In the past I provided care for several elderly including a retired couple of doctors, and I assisted a lady that was in hospice care. I cared overnight for a retired couple. I worked in a home for seniors with developmental disabilities. My philosophy for the elderly is the other side of the spectrum in human development and they are worthy of respect, and should be able to enjoy a good quality of care. My ideal senior would be someone who is in need of companionship.
