About Caroline

I started babysitting regularly as a young teenager and worked as a nanny in New York for several years after college. I taught middle school English for five years and, more recently, was a "big sister" with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Vermont. I have spent the past 18 months working part-time for a family with two kids ages 4 & 6. I love spending time with kids and helping facilitate their exploration of the world. As a childcare provider, I aim to cultivate kids' curiosity and creativity in safe, developmentally appropriate ways. In practice that looks like lots of reading, music, art, imaginative play, and outdoor time! I am finishing up a master's program in clinical psychology and am seeking part-time summer work (15-20 hours a week).
