About Caroline

I have about 12+ years of experience caring for animals, specifically dogs (since finding out I'm allergic to cats!) I grew up with two black labs, later on we had 2 shih tzus. Worked at a kennel & shadowed a trainer. In college I fostered dogs in my free time. I cared for an older teacup yorki, a 10-week-old Wiemeriner, and a shepherd/lab mix. After working in health care for 10 years I made a career change. I moved back to my home town of Sarasota and started dog sitting on the side. I quickly became very busy, and realized this would be profitable as a full time job! I created an LLC called "Ohh My Dog!" In 2023 and have been self employed ever since :) I would have to say my "specialty" in the field of animal care is caring for special needs pets. Being in healthcare, my deepest empathy for those less fortunate became a natural instinct. These special pets not only motivated me to stay vigilant but also provide the exceptional care and support they truly needed to thrive.
