About Caroline

When I first started undergrad as a freshman, I volunteered to help my Japanese language teacher in middle school with tutoring for her students. I got a contact from her to help tutor a student as they wanted to learn Japanese as a paid opportunity. This experience helped me shape various students' learning processes and help organize methods to better encourage success in learning. I also, at the end of my bachelor's degree program, became a mentor for a high school student while working on my undergraduate research project. I taught her proper techniques, analyzing data, learning the process of understanding the scientific experimental process on the project, and understanding literature.
