About Carol

Starting as a Teacher's Writing Assistant at St. Olaf College's Summer Bridge Program, I provided reliable support to 40 first generation college students every summer. I focused on explaining prompts, reviewing materials with students, and assisted in editing assignments to meet curriculum standards. I developed exceptional writing and editing skills that followed curriculum standards which also assisted in my use of providing examples to my students. I worked hard with students to understand what it meant to write at a college level providing feedback and support both in and out of one-on-one meetings. Having also majored in History and emphasized in both Latin America and the Middle East I can provide a worldly experience to historical learning!
