I have a masters in speech-language pathology and enjoy being part of children's development. I am looking for seasonal work until my full time job starts in mid-August. I have history working at various childcare centers center where I was the teacher for preschool-aged children, toddler, school aged, and infant. When I worked at the daycare I enjoyed spending time with the kids, and loved teaching them, but I especially appreciated one-on-one time with the children. After realizing this, I took up an offer to nanny for a newborn and a 2-year-old; and I loved it. While the nanny position brought me happiness, I decided it would be best if I pursued a degree that would best suit my passion for helping children. I graduated with my Master's in May of 2020 from the University of Kansas and moved back home to Alaska.

Carol came through for us ridiculously last minute and was able to provide care for our 7 month old son and two and a half year old daughter. Her positive energy and ability to quickly win the hearts of our children made the whole "leaving our kids with a stranger" experience very effortless and reassuring.
