About Carolyn

Hello! My name is Carolyn, and I am passionate about inspiring a love for learning in students! Over the past 8 years, I have worked for as a substitute teacher(K-12), adjunct professor (undergraduate psychology courses), and clinical trainer (graduate-level medical professionals). Along the way, I have enjoyed tutoring all ages and educational levels, as well as offering learning support for individuals preparing for standardized testing (ACT, GRE, national civics exam) and in language acquisition (English as a second language and Spanish). As a doctoral clinical psychologist, I have extensive background in learning theory, educational assessment, and curriculum development. My goal as a tutor is only to impart an understanding of a subject, but also to develop fundamental independent-learning skills.
