I graduated from VCU (Richmond VA) in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Psych. Since then, I have worked with several different populations in social services/healthcare (I was a group home director for adults with disabilities, a county case manager for Medicaid recipients, and I managed an assisted living facility specializing in TBIs.) Over time I've found my passion in working with the elderly population. I am currently working as a sole proprietor in the wilmington area doing in home care and am looking to connect with one more family. I'm CPR/first aid/AED/medication management certified. If your loved one needs assistance but is hesitant, I may be a good fit. I'd describe myself as kind hearted, hard working, and fun. I connect well with others and I truly love being able to help those who aren't able to help themselves. I'm happy to provide references. In my free time, I enjoy running with my dog, cooking, playing tennis, and practicing yoga.

Carrie has been amazing since day one. She quickly developed a wonderful rapport with my mom, who doesn't easily let new people into her life. Honestly, my mom does better with Carrie than with me. Carrie even got her to exercise, which is not one of mom's favorite activities.
