About Casey

Dog person at heart. My love for dogs started in early childhood, playing outside with my dad's black labrador named tut. When I was 8 years old my parents got me a bichon frisé puppy. She was my best friend for 16 years. She outlived her life expectancy by 4 years, and I believe it was because she received so much love and attentive care from me and my family. My mom and dad taught me so much about caring for dogs and all of the responsibility that comes with it. In the past few years living in Los Angeles, I have learned even more about using positive reinforcement from a good friend of mine. She has two amazing pups that I spend a lot of time with. Whenever she goes on vacation, I stay at her place and dogsit. I also rescued and rehomed a beautiful baby pitbull puppy two christmas's ago. She is fully grown now, living an adventurous and comfortable life with a surfer in West LA. Truly one of my happiest places to be is with dogs.
