About Cassidy

*I have references I can provide! This app just doesn't like me.* I like working with kids because they are our future! They are whimsical and imaginative, and no two are the same. Childcare is much more personal than other careers and I believe it's important to develop a good relationship with the whole family, not only the children. I started working with kids when I was about 12 and I became a nanny during the pandemic, after some time at daycares, and it's been my passion ever since. I am always learning new ways to keep children safe, such as car seat safety and safe sleep practices. I practice compassion with these little humans, because that's what they are. I also know that they are their own people. They need guidance, but they also need to be allowed the same autonomy and respect that we give our adult peers.
