About Cathy

I am currently seeking a part time position as a professional home health aide. I currently work part time as a caregiver, and would like to increase my hours, and be able to help someone as well. Prior to my current clients, I provided full time care, for 6 years, to an elderly woman who suffered with dementia. She required assistance in all ADLs. Cooking, cleaning, and transportation and companionship to doctors appointments, errands, and family gatherings. I have CNA experience as I worked at Royal nursing and rehabilitation, from 2016 to 2018, prior to beginning full-time private care. I obtained my medical assistant certification in 2009 and began working as a certified anesthesia technician at Brigham and women's Hospital operating rooms From 2010 to 2015. I truly enjoy helping others in need, and look forward to continuing to provide care and companionship. I enjoy outdoor adventures, walks, shopping, movies, family gatherings, and quiet times too.

My dad suffered from physical pain and cardiac issues and my mom has Alzheimer’s Disease. She cares for both of them for years. Her presence became especially invaluable during the passing of my father—she guided us through that difficult time with strength, kindness, and grace, while continuing to care for my mother, who has Alzheimer’s, with patience and understanding. Cathy is not only kind and patient, but also brings a level of knowledge and experience that is truly rare. She’s bright, full of common sense, and has a work ethic that goes far beyond what you typically see. We are so fortunate to have her during one of the most challenging times in our lives.
