Personal experience of caring for my grandparents as they battled cancer and dementia in the end stages of their life. Currently caring for elderly gentleman with COPD - monitor his blood pressure, ensure that meds are taken accurately & on time, as well accessing his needs for oxygen. Provide light cleaning, prepare home cooked meals for him, drive him wherever he needs to go. Provided care for his wife after she had broken her hip and during her time at home when Hospice. Helped to bathe her, assist in her physical rehab, fed by hand, wound care, provided love and support as well as comfort to her and her husband of 64y during her last days.
