About Channelle

I'm passionate about helping students unlock their full potential through personalized learning. With a graduate degree and eight years of experience in the classroom, I specialize in Math, English, and Special Education for elementary through high school students. I am a certified teacher and I am trained in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). I believe in creating an engaging, patient, and supportive environment where students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I assess individual learning styles by actively listening and varying my teaching strategies. I keep students motivated by connecting topics to their interests, celebrating successes, and breaking down complex problems. Communication is essential, and I value building trust through open dialogue with both students and parents. The most rewarding aspect of tutoring is witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student's confidence grows.
