What I bring to caregiving goes beyond the tasks- it's genuine warmth and humor, a calm steadiness in the hardest moments, and the emotional depth to support not just my client, but the whole family. I'm a loving, self-starting presence who can walk into any situation and see what needs to be done. My background in counseling gives me an emotional toolkit that allows me to hold space for the complicated feelings that can arise for families in a caregiving situation. My experience includes dementia, chronic illness, post-surgical recovery, mobility assistance (inc. Hoyer lift), catheter care, and hospice. End-of-life care holds a special place in my heart -- it is an honor to walk alongside someone through that transition with grace and dignity. I'm equally energized supporting a client in staying active and engaged with life. I'm not looking to job-hop, I want to find the right family and stay.
