About Charis

Hi, my name is Charis. I graduated from Cedarville University with a degree in Primary Education. I love cultivating atmospheres that allow children to be creative, feel loved, and know that they are cared for. I do this by listening and asking children questions. This allows me to get to know them and incorporate what they enjoy into our time together. I have 10+ years of experience working with children. This has included babysitting(10+ yrs.), being an elementary teacher assistant(7 yrs.), multi age summer kids program(7yrs.), supervising 3-year-olds for Sunday meetings(6 yrs.), camp counseling( 1 yr.), and over 1, 000 hours of elementary classroom field experience during college.
