About Charissa

Hello! My name is Charissa, and here are a few key things about me you should know. I hope to bring a smile wherever I go, especially during the most important and formative years of a child's life. I'd describe my personality as cheerful, playful, and well-grounded. I like working with kids because they are, in my opinion, the most important members of society. I'm looking for a job that provides clear expectations, where parents can be involved and respected while knowing their child is safe and happy. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. My dad signed us up for a camping program called HATs which provided opportunities to mentor and teach younger campers. In my spare time, I like to draw and read and am always inspired by the world around me. One thing you should know about me is I am flexible and receptive to feedback. My skills include educational play, empathetic discipline, and confidence building. I have a Fingerprint Clearance Card.
