About Charlene

I was born in 1975 and am the proud mother of a daughter born in 2009. I have been a professional nanny and or sitter for dozens of Austin professionals for over 30 years, including doctors, therapists, lawyers and even a licensed child advocate. I started my career in caregiving at just 10 yrs old working with my mother for her in-home daycare after school, as well as during summers, until I was 15 when I took my first nanny position as a Summer job for a family with a new born, 2yr old and 4 yr old. In college I made A's in my Child Development and Educating Young Children classes. I have also worked for multiple childcare facilities and private schools. I have multiple certifications including in Montessori education and The Outdoor Classroom. I also do professional pet sitting in my spare time.
