About Charlotte

Hello! I am a sophomore nursing student at the University of South Carolina! I hope to be a pediatric nurse, as I love working with kids and helping them grow physically as well as emotionally. I have experience nannying for two children, ages 1 and 3, for the past two years. I also nanny for a family with girls ages 5-10. I am CPR and First Aid Certified and have a driver's license/car for transportation! My goal is to foster a safe and supportive environment where children can grow and thrive. I am especially focused on helping them identify, understand, and manage their emotions, as children are remarkably impressionable. As a caretaker, I view it as my responsibility to guide them in developing emotional intelligence and becoming kind, respectful individuals within their community. Often times, when a child has feelings too big to keep quiet, they just need someone to understand them and teach them healthier, more acceptable coping mechanisms.
