About Chelsea

Hi there! I'm a positive, energetic, and reliable educator with a passion for helping students thrive. I've been teaching since 2018 and in the fall, I will begin my 8th year as a public school teacher in Maryland. I'm proud to be rated as a highly effective teacher and bring a strong track record of student growth and success. Over the years, I've taught 2nd, 3rd, and now 4th grade, covering all core subjects including math, reading, writing, phonics, science, social studies, and health. I currently teach 4th grade ELA, focusing on reading, writing, spelling, and phonics. I'm a certified elementary educator for grades 1-6. I completed my graduate degree in Educational Leadership in 2023. In addition to that, I am LETRS certified. I offer both virtual and in-person tutoring sessions tailored to meet each child's unique learning needs. I'm excited to support your child's academic journey!
