About Chenae

My name is Chenae. I am a certified elementary and special education teacher. This is my 12th year of teaching in urban public schools. I have extensive experience teaching students with behavior disorders to help them manage their behavior so they can now be motivated to learn and thrive. I'd describe my personality as open-minded, straightforward, and caring. I like tutoring because it allows me to help my students one-on-one to thrive. In my spare time, I like to sit on my patio and hear the sounds of nature. One thing you should know about me is that I love to teach students multiple strategies until they find the right strategy for them. I am very adaptable to students' needs. My skills include behavior management, growth mindset, test strategies, elementary math and English language arts, and technology.
