About Chenna

Coming from a family of teachers, it was no surprise when I announced I would go into academia. My first paid tutoring position was ACT prep for a family friend, wherein she scored about average for her class as a first-time test taker. More than 10 years after I began tutoring at 16 in school, I have taken several education-related positions, including my current job as a museum educator in Nashville. I am persistent, creative, and have worked with all abilities, focus levels, and expectations. My strongest subjects are Social Studies and related fields (I have a BA in History) and English, especially grammar and spelling. I also have a music background and can assist with basic practice drills. Even for subjects I need a refresher on, I can usually recall within a brief overlook.
